when my korean drama got hijacked...duh.......

ironing my clothes and watching the korean drama at the same time, someone hijacked the show for a merdeka speech. well, at first it was nice but later....it was diverted to something...well, political motivated. there are things that you can choose not to mention especially when everyone is in a happy mood. but i guess you cant control yourself from mentioning it........aii......when will we ever have a open minded leaders. talk about religion and racial tolerance when your members are doing the other way around. if there is racial and religion tolerance, why wanna waste the money to promote 1malaysia and those advertisement?

  1. Propaganda [and divide-n-rule] has been the oldest trick in politics. It worked well in the past because there was no internet and no limitless source of info.

It was effective in remote villages where Information Officers will visit them with some goodies/freebies and then brainwash them to believe that the govt-of-the-day is their saviour. It worked [then] because there was no alternative source of information.

I remember [during a trip to a Sarawak longhouse] when the [longhouse] chief and us were having some food and tuak, his grandclildren were on Facebook. The authorities cepat-lupa that our east Malaysian brethren are very quick in embracing IT.

FYI, I stopped buying newspapers and also stopped watching the TV "controlled-channels". Sick of all the adulterated news.

  3. The script that our PM read on the eve of Raya was interesting. I salute the writer, only wish the PM himself understood what he read.

  4. It comes to a time that when you lost confidence in your leader, you find that everything that comes out from his mouth are craps.Everytime that advert comes onscreen, I walked away to take a leak. Honestly, I feel disgusted to hear golden words coming from a tainted man and the wonder is, he can keep a straight face!
