Wrong body sent back to Indonesia
MEDAN: The parents of an Indonesian migrant worker who died in Malaysia say officials have flown the wrong body home.
Friends of Simon Petrus Sitepu, 22, called his parents to say he had died after being hit by heavy machinery while working at an oil palm plantation in Kedah.
The parents went to the airport here yesterday to collect what they thought was his body, but broke down in tears when they saw it was of someone else.
His father Bener Sitepu said it appeared to be that of a 40-year-old man of Indian descent.
Officials at Malaysia’s consulate here acknowledged there was a mix-up. — AP

P.S. A case of mistaken nationality.
